Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate employees' attitudes towards company policies and procedures in Tamil Nadu, focusing on aspects such as policy clarity, fairness, communication effectiveness, flexibility, and involvement. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study surveyed 455 employees through a structured questionnaire to gather data on their perceptions of these policy dimensions. Descriptive statistics revealed generally positive attitudes towards policy clarity but moderate concerns about flexibility and involvement. Significant differences were observed based on gender, with female employees perceiving fairness less positively. ANOVA showed variations in attitudes across job levels, with senior employees reporting more favorable views. Correlation analysis highlighted strong relationships between policy clarity and communication effectiveness. Regression analysis identified clarity and fairness as key predictors of overall employee satisfaction. The findings suggest that enhancing policy clarity and fairness can significantly improve employee satisfaction. Addressing these areas, especially in communication and inclusivity, is crucial for fostering a more engaged and satisfied workforce.
