El uso de diferentes densidades de cultivo aumenta la producción de carne de Oreochromis niloticus en sistema cerrado The Use of Different Crop Densities Increases he Meat Production of Oreochromis niloticus in a Closed System
Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el efecto de diferentes densidades de crianza de tilapia en un sistema cerrado. En este sentido, se utilizaron tres unidades experimentales, consistentes en tanques de PVC de 0,65 m 3 , y los sistemas se mantuvieron durante una semana con aireación para declorar el agua de bebida. Se utilizaron tres densidades de cultivo: 50 (T1), 100 (T2) y 150 individuos/0,65 m 3 (T3). Se evaluaron quincenalmente la longitud, el peso, la biomasa inicial (B0), la tasa de crecimiento específico (TCE), el factor de condición Fulton (K), la supervivencia (%) y la producción de carne de tilapia (kg). En los tratamientos T1, T2 y T3 los rangos de longitud obtenidos fueron de 8.70 a 14.72 cm, peso de 13.58 a 60.43 g, B0 de 1069 a 1988 g, TCE de 0.62 a 0.79 %/día, K de 1.68 a 1.78%, K de 50 a 54% y la producción de carne de tilapia GIFT (Oreochromis niloticus) fue de 1.63 kg en el T1, 2.41 kg en el T2 y 2.65 kg/0.65 m 3 en el T3. Se concluye que, a la densidad de cultivo de 150 individuos/0.65 m 3 , se obtuvo mayor producción de carne de tilapia.
