“Comparative Study to Assess Quality Improvement in Implementation of Academic Curriculum, Co-Curricular and Extracurricular Activities Before And After National Assessment and Accreditation Council (Naac).”
Abstract
Education plays a vital role in the development of any nation. Therefore, there is a premium on both quantity (increased access) and quality (relevance and excellence of academic programmes offered) of higher education. A Descriptive / Comparative research design was used for this study. Participants were selected from selected nursing college of Maharashtra. This study was set with 50 nursing students. Non probability sampling method was used. The finding of the study revealed that the 35(67.3%) in age group belongs to 20-24 years of age, 25(50%) from 4th year batch, 45(86.5%) sample had taken instruction from English medium, 46(88.5%) sample selected this career choice by their own , 30(58.8%) samples living with parents and 36(72%) sample will pass in 2022-2023 year. There are 62% of students are strongly agree and agree with curriculum planning, remaining 39% of students are neutrally satisfied with curriculum planning. In Academic assessment 61% of students strongly agree and agree with academic assessment. In Research consultancy and Extension, 59% of students strongly agree and agree with Research consultancy and extension. In Infrastructure and Learning Resources, 58% of students strongly agree and agree with Infrastructure and learning resources. In Student Support and Progression 63% of students strongly agree and agree with Student Support and Progression. In Women Empowerment 64%% of students strongly agree and agree with Women Empowerment. In Innovations and Best Practices 60% of students strongly agree and agree with
